Is this at 9990 46th St, Pinellas Park?

    1. Lake Seminole Park. Park boulevard between Seminole boulevard and Starkey road / Park Street. Updated location since Freedom lake park wouldn’t allow it.

Hopefully there will be many who show up!

    1. I’m thinking it will be packed with pastor Danny Hodges supporters. Even better if Danny can confirm he will be there too! ?

Wow, that’s great for me as if I’m correct I live right across the street (in Seminole Isle) from the Park. I’ll be there.

        1. Be sure to share this with your friends! ?

This was on FB. I don’t know this person and I pray that my posting it here will help many of us remember who Pastor Danny and his family are.

I feel compelled to share Wendy Hodges’ letter to the “Women In The Word” group upon her departure. Perhaps this will give those with ears to hear a bit more insight into the mindset of our beloved pastor and his beautiful wife:

This is the email that was sent to us on May 26, 2017 at 9:51pm.

        Dearest Women in the Word,
Danny and I have been out of town this past month as part of the first step in the PastorServe restoration plan. We only made a few overnight trips home here and there, the most exciting was to attend Hayden’s graduation from his St. Pete Fire Rescue training on May 12. We were so proud of this long-term accomplishment! He began work with the St. Pete Fire Dept. on May 17 at Station 11, right down the road from us, and he’s doing the typical fireman schedule of 24 hours on and 48 hours off.

Most of our time away was spent in Orlando so our kids could come visit us without having to travel far. We also got to visit my sister and Danny’s natural father in Georgia, and also spend a couple days in the mountains. Today we got home with much to do to turn around and leave again on Monday morning for two weeks in Israel. In addition, my in-laws who are also going on the Israel trip fly in tomorrow afternoon and are staying with us. So you can understand I have lots to get done.

However, to my surprise, my son Jairus left a big box for me from WIW! With so much to do today, it wasn’t until this evening that I was able to sit down to look through it and read all of your sweet notes, cards, letters, and gifts. It was so overwhelming! All I can say is that I sat and cried as I read through each one of them. And if that were not enough, I was I utterly speechless by such an enormous cash gift!!! Just when we could use extra cash and small bills for the Israel trip. More tears!

How can I thank you?! I can’t even begin to tell you how touched and how grateful I am for your love, support, thoughtfulness, and extreme generosity. With all we’ve faced in the past six months, with still more ahead, your expressions of love and kindness are deeply appreciated. You may never know how much. God has used you to remind me both of your love and His love for me, and that He still has a plan for our future, as uncertain as it still seems. I do trust that in time the Lord will allow us to teach the Word again. But until then, it’s time to listen and learn.
Please continue to pray for us. We know God is faithful, and for our part we choose to say along with Job, though He slay us, we will trust Him; and we pray that when He has tried us, we will come forth as gold. So we continue to WALK with Jesus, one day at a time.
With great love and affection, Wendy

I’ll be there. Sharing on Facebook! I felt there was something terribly wrong with the way this was all presented. I’m with Danny Hodges! Best preacher I ever heard! God Bless Danny, Wendy and family!

I had a sense of this when Danny announced his retirement on Easter morning. I have researched it more and am so disappointed that the responsible group can call themselves men of God. Interesting that Dave Dodge’s son is President of Pastor Serve, the organization at least partly responsible. No forgiveness? Danny is my pastor to receive the word of God.
